Bible verse of the day...Exodus 14:13-14 (NIV)

Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. Exodus 14:13-14 (NIV)
My reflection of the verse:
Many of us now a days have all sorts of problems. Many lose their jobs, businesses closing, many are hungry and nowhere to go. It is a very difficult situation and many lose hope or afraid to what lies ahead. But in this verses, when the Israelites were afraid because Moses brought them out of Egypt, they asked so many questions to him. In response to their questions, Moses answered them with this verses. It applies to us too. We should not lose hope because our God is a great God. We have to be strong in our faith and hold on to Him. We still have to praise Him in the storm and believe that He will provide us with what we need. He will restore what we have lost and our God is a great provider. He will fight for us no matter what. We just have be strong, pray hard, believe and see the wonders of His mighty hands.

Bible verse of the day...1 John 4:8 (NIV)

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8 (NIV)
My reflection of the verse:
This verse is related to the memory verse yesterday. It's about loving others. All of us have experienced loving someone, like our grandparents, mom, siblings, dad, friends, special friends, and many others. But the love for God is the most important of all. Love is a powerful and the most beautiful thing to have and to experience. It warms our hearts and usually gives us happiness. When we know how to love God, ourselves and others, we can say that we are obedient children of God because we are following His greatest commandments.

Bible verse of the day...1 John 4:7 (NIV)

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7 (NIV
My reflection of the verse:
Today is the first day of the month of February and usually it's called the love month. Most people celebrate valentines day with their love ones and express their love for one another on different ways. In this verse, God commands us to love each other regardless of our religion, gender, economic status or cultural backgrounds, not only on this month but for rest of our lives. Our love for one another should be pure, sincere and should be expressed everyday. We must show our brethren that we care for each other because that is what God command us to do. May we all realize the importance of loving our neighbors as we love our selves because our God in heaven is a God of love.

Bible verse of the day...Psalm 84:11 (NIV)

For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Psalm 84:11 (NIV)

My reflection of the verse:

True light comes from our Lord God Almighty. He is our shield and protector from all kinds of trouble or harm. He gives what is due to anyone who is righteous, obedient, humble and just before Him. God favors a good and faithful servant. He blesses him and provides him with the things he needed. May we all walk humbly and blameless with God, so, He will bless us all the days of our lives.

Bible verse of the day...Proverbs 19:21 (NIV)

Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:21 (NIV)
My reflection of the verse:
This verse is applicable to each of us. Oftentimes, we make plans on so many things as if it will all happen in our own terms. However, that is not always the case. In making plans we must always ask God's will to happen. He holds everything in His hands. God would not allow His children to go astray, so, His will always prevails regardless of anything. If He sees that our plans will help us become closer to Him and makes us better individuals, He might allow our plans to happen. But when if it is detrimental to us, obviously, it will never happen. God is the master of the universe, the King of all kings, and His purpose or plan always prevails for the good of mankind and for His glory.

Bible verse of the day... Psalm 22:5 (NIV)

They cried to you and were saved; in you they trusted and were not disappointed. Psalm 22:5 (NIV)
My reflection of the verse:
Man is never spared of problems and encounters all kinds of trials. But that is part of God's plan to mold him and to make him stronger. Sometimes with God's guidance and grace, we are able to solve it easily. However, there are times that it is so difficult to handle and we could not understand the situation or what is going on. But we should not be dismayed. In this verse, it helps us reflect that once we turn our eyes to God and humbly ask for His help, we are never disappointed. He hears our petitions, fears, cries, frustrations, and everything that is in our hearts. Our God is an Almighty God, a merciful and loving King. He loves His children and only He can save us from all kinds of situations. He is the source of our strength and courage to face our individual battles. We must trust and believe Him always until the end of our days because with God we are more than conquerors.

Bible verse of the day...Psalm 29:2 (NIV)

Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness. Psalm 29:2 (NIV)
My reflection of the verse:
Our Almighty God is the author and maker of everything. Whatever we have in our lives and whatever situation we are into He deserves all praise and worship. We must acknowledge Him and be grateful to Him for He is holy. He is the source of life, love, peace, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, joy, patience, strength, and a God who learns how to forgive. He is a God who always carry us in times of great trials, suffering, confusion and pain. He is a God who is our shield and willing to protect us. He is the only one who protects and loves us sincerely. I pray that whoever is going through a lot at this point in his/her life may he/she find peace and comfort in God. May He gives us the courage we need to face the battle we are going through within us or caused by others. But no matter how difficult the situation may be God always deserves our praise and worship for He is a great God.
