After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. "Follow me," Jesus said to him, and Levi got up, left everything and followed him. Luke 5:27-28 (NIV)
My reflection of the verse
It is a great honor for someone to be called by God and being told to follow Him. Levi did the right thing by following Jesus and leaving everything behind. When we follow Him we become more blessed because He provides us with everything. By following Him also means leaving our old sinful ways and making ourselves a living sacrifice by submitting according to His will.
