Bible verse of the day...1 John 2:12 (NIV)

I write to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name. 1 John 2:12 (NIV)

My reflection of the verse

All of us commit sin against God, however, He is telling us that our sins are forgiven. It is great to know that we have a forgiving God. But I think we should refrain from doing the same sin over and over again. Our Almighty God would be hurt if we continue on doing bad things against Him or even against others. I think this verse is also telling us that if someone hurt us or did something bad against us , we should forgive him/her because even God forgive our faults. So, why can't we forgive others who sin against us?
