My reflection of the verse

Praying is a way of communicating with God. Every time we pray God hears them and answers our prayers. When we are in a situation which needs wisdom, knowledge and understanding, it is best to ask our Almighty God for it. He will lead us to the right path and help us deal with any situation in our lives.

My reflection of the verse

God has done many great things for His children. He continues to show wonders and miracles every single day. He showers blessings to every man He created. He pardons man for his faults and love him dearly. With all these things He has done, God is worthy of our praises and thanksgiving. Man will have nothing without God. Whatever we have in life comes from Him. Therefore, we should always acknowledge God for His greatness.

My reflection of the verse

We live in a chaotic world but God is telling us to live in peace with our brothers. He is telling us that we should learn how to care for others. Love our enemies and treat them as our brothers. Try to sympathize our fellow being. Be kind towards friends or strangers and be humble with each other. If we can follow this instruction, I think peace will reign on earth.

My reflection of the verse

All of us commit sin against God, however, He is telling us that our sins are forgiven. It is great to know that we have a forgiving God. But I think we should refrain from doing the same sin over and over again. Our Almighty God would be hurt if we continue on doing bad things against Him or even against others. I think this verse is also telling us that if someone hurt us or did something bad against us , we should forgive him/her because even God forgive our faults. So, why can't we forgive others who sin against us?

My reflection of the verse

During the trying moments of our lives, God is always there to guide us and protect us. With humble hearts, we seek Him and want Him to be source of our patience and strength. I always ask God to be there for me every moment of my life. I'm grateful to Him because He gives me the courage to face life. Living in this world is difficult but with God's mercy and grace I have the strength to face every battle I encounter.

We should be reminded that living in this world is temporary. Our minds should not dwell on material things because we will leave them when we die. I think it's better for us to focus on doing something good and right in the eyes of God.

My reflection of the verse

Jesus is telling us that the first commandment that man should obey is to love God with all his mind, soul, and heart. I think we should love Him more than anything else in this world. God first loved us,so, loving Him sincerely is like giving back what He has given to man. Another commandment that man should follow is loving his neighbor. Sometimes this commandment is quite hard to obey because there are instances in man's life that affect his relationship with his brother or friends. However, man should learn how to love someone despite the other person's imperfection. We all have our shortcomings and learning to love our neighbor despite of everything would please God. I think obeying and pleasing God is more important than pleasing ourselves.

My reflection of the verse

Each of us has a problem to solve or trial to face. Sometimes it is difficult to handle and we become hopeless. But I think it is important for us to stay strong and trust God for He knows what He is doing. He put us in different situations, so, that we will able to rely in Him alone and our relationship with Him becomes stronger. It also deepens our faith in God. Therefore, trust our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ always.

My reflection of the verse

We celebrate Easter Sunday today in remembrance of Jesus' resurrection. Every time I think of Easter, I'm reminded of our salvation and God's love for us. No one could ever loved us that way that He would send His only begotten son to save us. Easter Sunday is not only a day for Easter egg hunt but I think it's day to be with your family thanking the Lord for all the sacrifices He did for us.

My reflection of the verse

Each of us has a weakness and I think Jesus help us in our weakness. He is the source of our strength to overcome it. I always pray to Jesus to guide me and direct my path in times of great weakness because I don't think I will be able to get through with it alone. Jesus is my everything and I place my trust in Him. I believe He will never forsake me especially in times of my weakness.

I always asked the Lord for wisdom, knowledge and understanding. I know having those will help me live a better life and make right decisions or judgments. I thank the Lord for this verse.

My reflection of the verse

There are many meanings of the word "faith". But I think the appropriate meaning for me in relation with this verse is that faith is a belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence. In this verse, Jesus is telling us that we should have a faith in Him, do something about that faith and remain faithful to Him at all times.

My reflection of the verse

God is an everlasting God. He is the beginning and the end. I think He will never change and would always be a loving creator. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. I pray that many would love, worship, praise, glorify, and respect our Lord God Almighty.

My reflection of the verse

Jesus is telling us that we should be born again so that we could enter His kingdom. It means that we should change our sinful ways by completely changing oneself to a new person and should live according to God's words. It can also mean that we should be baptize in the name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit through water baptism. I think this verse is simply saying that we should be a new creation to be worthy of God's kingdom.

My reflection of the verse

God wants us to observe sabbath because it is obvious that He made everything for six days and rested on the seventh day. He set an example so we could do the same. We can't be working for seven days but we should spend one day for the Lord. It means that every sabbath day we should go to our churches for worship service, attend bible studies, prayer meetings, and other activities that would strengthen our relationship with Jesus and also with the members of the church. It is great to start the week with full of inspiration and energy from our Almighty God.

My reflection of the verse

There were so many prophets, martyrs, and faithful followers of Jesus who came before us. They observed and followed Christ's example in their daily lives. Most of them even sacrificed their lives for His sake. This verse tells us that we should do what God is telling us to do and by doing so we become worthy of eternal life.

My reflection of the verse

We are God's children and we should follow this commandment. He is telling us that we should be compassionate. It means we should be sympathetic or merciful of others. We should also be kind, meaning helpful or of a forbearing nature. We need to be humble, meaning not proud or arrogant. We have to be gentle which means free from violence or harshness. Lastly, we should be patient meaning we should be able to bear pain or trial without complaining.

My reflection of the verse

I had my ups and downs and even suffered depression for quite a while. I was asking God how will I cope up with everything that had happened. But God has been good to me and I was able to move on. I have recovered and went back on track. It was all because of Jesus. He became the source of my strength and hope. He helped me get through with everything and He never fails.

God has always been faithful to us and everyday we receive His mercy. Despite our imperfections His love for us never ceases. We are very blessed because we have a living and true God who sincerely take care of us and provide our needs. I'm happy He created me and loves me.

My reflection of the verse

There are times that I want the Lord to help me live the right way of living. I'm only human and commits mistakes just like everybody else. However, during the time of reflection I asked Him to lead me to the right path. If I'm not doing the right thing, I want him to correct me, so, that I could be worthy of His blessings. I imagine myself walking on a road and instead of walking on the straight path, sometimes, I go to the left or to the right. At that point in my life, I asked God to help me walk on the right path to avoid from sinning or making mistakes before Him.

My reflection of the verse

Our God always rescues us from harm or save us in times of great trouble. I think He has done that to everybody. For instance, in cases of emergency, God aids us by using someone who could help us. It's also another way of showering His blessing upon us.

Jesus is telling us that if we are to follow Him we should forget about our worldly desires and make sacrifices for His sake. Following Him is not easy because it requires a lot of patience, faith, courage, and love. God is also saying that if we give up our lives for Him, He will provide us with abundant blessings and surely He will give us an everlasting life.

We should always trust Jesus every day of our lives. Everything in this world is unpredictable and anything can happen with us. Problems may arise and sometimes we become hopeless. But God is a merciful God. He always makes a way and every time He gives us a favor or answers our prayer we should acknowledge Him always. We can not trust ourselves only and believe that we can do everything. No we can't. It's only God who can make the impossible and I truly believe that because He has done great miracles in my life. I praise and thank Jesus for everything He has done for me. To God be the glory !

My reflection of the verse

God doesn't want us to hate each other or fight with each other. We should be considerate of others and should know how to accept our faults. We won't benefit anything if we continue to hate each other. I think this is what the entire verse is all about.

My reflection of the verse

Since the time of John the Baptist, he was telling everybody to repent from our sins. We always sin against God, hence, we should always ask forgiveness every time we disobey His commandments. Jesus will be coming soon and we should be ready all the time. We don't want to be left behind, so, we should be prepared always.
