Bible verse of the day...Exodus 14:13-14 (NIV)

Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. Exodus 14:13-14 (NIV)
My reflection of the verse:
Many of us now a days have all sorts of problems. Many lose their jobs, businesses closing, many are hungry and nowhere to go. It is a very difficult situation and many lose hope or afraid to what lies ahead. But in this verses, when the Israelites were afraid because Moses brought them out of Egypt, they asked so many questions to him. In response to their questions, Moses answered them with this verses. It applies to us too. We should not lose hope because our God is a great God. We have to be strong in our faith and hold on to Him. We still have to praise Him in the storm and believe that He will provide us with what we need. He will restore what we have lost and our God is a great provider. He will fight for us no matter what. We just have be strong, pray hard, believe and see the wonders of His mighty hands.

Bible verse of the day...1 John 4:8 (NIV)

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8 (NIV)
My reflection of the verse:
This verse is related to the memory verse yesterday. It's about loving others. All of us have experienced loving someone, like our grandparents, mom, siblings, dad, friends, special friends, and many others. But the love for God is the most important of all. Love is a powerful and the most beautiful thing to have and to experience. It warms our hearts and usually gives us happiness. When we know how to love God, ourselves and others, we can say that we are obedient children of God because we are following His greatest commandments.

Bible verse of the day...1 John 4:7 (NIV)

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7 (NIV
My reflection of the verse:
Today is the first day of the month of February and usually it's called the love month. Most people celebrate valentines day with their love ones and express their love for one another on different ways. In this verse, God commands us to love each other regardless of our religion, gender, economic status or cultural backgrounds, not only on this month but for rest of our lives. Our love for one another should be pure, sincere and should be expressed everyday. We must show our brethren that we care for each other because that is what God command us to do. May we all realize the importance of loving our neighbors as we love our selves because our God in heaven is a God of love.
